Everyone’s been there. As a child, your mom would take you to Wal-Mart, Target, or, if you lived near rich people as a kid, Toys-R-Us. Anywhere with toys. And being a child, you wanted to pick them up, play with them, put them in the buggy in hopes that your mom would buy them. Heck, at that age, you didn’t get the concept of money or buying things with money. You just wanted to play with it. And you wanted Mom to let you take it out of the store. If she said no, some of the braver ones among you would sneak it in the buggy anyway. Maybe mom didn’t notice. Maybe she did and bought it anyway. But typically, what would happen

girls in white dresses don't always want weddings. the priests would speak of leaps of faith and my hands would clasp the wood in horror, knuckles bleached like bone- and i found something old: the knot tied in my throat. my vocal cords did not let empty words escape. and there was something blue: the heart that hesitated. how can a seedling prophesy its harvest? how can a caterpillar promise the power of its wings? so let others gather flowers. we will skip the mass but not the bed: and through this something borrowed, earn a little time- and a place to rest our heads.

Any Polaroid 250 owners reading this? I just recently snagged a gorgeous Polaroid 250 from a local antique mall. Beautiful condition, takes awesome pictures, but I'm having one problem. Whenever I put in a new film pack the first exposures are damn near impossible to pull out. In fact, I've wasted at least 15 exposures because the tabs end up ripping and I have to open up the camera and pull them out. After the first five or six exposures are removed then the remaining ones slide out nicely, but I'm really frustrated about all the wasted film. My rollers are clean and working smoothly. I love your art for Into the Woods! My daughter is in a high school performance of the musical. I would like to print a poster of your work for the cast to sign as a director's gift and print cards with your work as the cover for thank you notes for sponsors.
